Growing, Learning & Playing: A Playground Made Possible by Our Community
8/20/26
We are incredibly grateful to share some exciting updates that took place on our preschool playground this summer—all made possible through the incredible generosity of Freedom Bank and Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines.
Because of their generous support, we were able to make several meaningful improvements to our outdoor space that will benefit our children and our greater community for years to come.
One of the additions we are especially excited about is our new garden! This space will give our children the opportunity to get their hands in the soil, watch things grow, learn about nature, and experience the joy of caring for something of their own. It will become an extension of our classroom, providing countless opportunities for hands-on learning, exploration, and discovery.
We also added a paved bike path (done by a local company, T-Bend Construction)along with strider bikes and helmets for our littlest riders to enjoy! This new space encourages physical activity while helping children build balance, coordination, confidence, and gross-motor skills—all while having fun and creating wonderful childhood memories.
But what makes these improvements even more meaningful is that our playground is a space that can be enjoyed by our community, too. This means the generosity of Freedom Bank and Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines reaches far beyond the children enrolled at our school. Families and children in our community have the opportunity to enjoy this space, making their investment an even greater gift to the Flathead Valley.
These playground improvements are so much more than new equipment and landscaping. They create opportunities for learning, imagination, movement, independence, connection, and joyful play. They help us provide an environment where children can explore the world around them while building important skills—and they give families a welcoming place to gather and enjoy the outdoors together.
We cannot thank Freedom Bank and Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines enough for investing in our school, our children, and our community. Their generosity has helped us create a space where little ones can grow, explore, move, discover, and play, while also providing a resource for families throughout our community.
We are incredibly thankful for organizations that recognize the importance of early childhood education and understand the lasting impact that investing in children can have on an entire community.
Thank you, Freedom Bank and Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, for helping us make our playground dreams a reality! Your generosity will be enjoyed by countless little feet, curious minds, growing gardeners, and young riders for years to come. 🌱🚲❤️

We are incredibly grateful to share some wonderful news with our preschool community!
Our preschool has been blessed with an incredibly generous $5,000 donation from Affordable Heating Inc., specifically designated to provide snacks for our students throughout the school year.
This amazing gift will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children we serve and the families who trust us with their little ones each day.
For young children, nutritious food is so much more than just a snack. Well-fed children are better able to learn, play, explore, participate, and make the most of their day. With our students spending long days at preschool, having access to nourishing snacks helps ensure they have the energy they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
This donation also provides meaningful support to our families. We know that raising children comes with many expenses, and we strive to provide an affordable, welcoming environment for families in our community. Being able to offer snacks throughout the school year helps take one more responsibility off families’ plates.
We want to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thank-you to Affordable Heating Inc. for investing in our preschool and, most importantly, in our children. Their generosity will provide countless snacks and nourishing moments throughout the school year, helping ensure our little learners have full bellies and the energy they need to take on each day.
A $5,000 donation may look like a number on paper, but to us, it represents happy tummies, focused little learners, opportunities to learn and grow, and children who feel cared for and supported.
We are so thankful to live and work in a community where local businesses like Affordable Heating Inc. recognize the importance of investing in our youngest community members.
Thank you, Affordable Heating Inc., for helping us nourish our little learners! Your generosity will make an impact all year long, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.
Together, we are creating a preschool community where every child feels cared for, nourished, valued, and ready to learn.
